The PPQ M2 is a true breakthrough in ergonomics for self-defense handguns. The styling is elegant and trim with a sculpted grip that meshes smoothly into the hand. The PPQ M2 has a reversible mag release button and an ambidextrous slide stop. The 'Quick Defense' trigger works in conjunction with a fully pre-loaded striker assembly. The trigger pull of 5.6 lbs remains unchanged from the first shot to the last and requires no decocker. It has two drop safeties and a firing pin block for safe carry. Because the firearm is in a constant cocked state, the striker does not protrude from the back of the slide. The polymer frame has interchangeable backstraps and an integral Picatinny Mil-Spec rail. This PPQ M2 model has a 12-round capacity.

Yes, I've read all the negative reviews but I thought I'd try and see for myself. Besides, it seems to be just a handful of pissed off customers that seem to be mass reviewing. This is my opinion and review of the company and firearm that I purchased through LockedLoaded.
I was in the market for a range training pistol for myself as I have a 5" PPQ 9mm M1 and to engrain gun safety with my kids as they are gaining interest as well. I've been looking at the PPQ 22 for awhile since the purchase of my PPQ M1. Needless to say, I am a Walther fan now. I cam across the PPQ 22 on gun.deals and it lead me here. LockedLoaded had the best price online, but of course all the negative reviews kept me at bay. Eventually, I gave in and purchased it. And I'm extremely happy that I did. They contacted me to verify my FFL, gun shipped out, and in less than 5 business days, I had my new PPQ 22. I inspected everything and all was in perfect condition...magazine, gun. Then I noticed there was another mag inserted into the gun! Everywhere I've read says this pistol only comes with 1 mag. So either they changed what they ship with it or I got a bonus! Took gun apart, cleaned, and headed to range next day. This pistol is sweet shooting out of the box, a tad high at 15 yards but a couple clicks on the rear sight fixed that. Trigger is really good, just not fantastic as the PPQ 9m. But the 22lr is hammer fired so I'm ok with that. 200 rounds of different ammo went through it that day, CCI, Aguila, Thunderbolts, and American Eagle, and no issues. Walther does recommend HV rounds, so that is what I did. All were around the 1200 fps. Again, I am happy I went with LockedLoaded for my purchase and everything went as smooth as can be. My only gripe would be not to use USPS, too slow. I am in the market for a PPQ 45 so we'll see.
